Data Carriers

A data carrier is a card that consists of paper, cardboard or compound material and carrier readable or encoded information. The importance of the various data carriers for a trouble-free daily life is reflected in the sales of the traditional MELZER lines. Hundreds of their machines produce many different products, for example:

ISO-Cards

Depending on the combination of the modules you choose, MELZER lines are capable of producing all types of ISO plastic cards:

mono-layer cards with magnetic stripe or laminated multi-layer cards
telephone cards
micro-chip module or bank and credit cards
contactless chip cards
CombiCards (Dual Interface Cards)

Thanks to this modular approach it is possible to integrate all future technologies such as finger prints (biometrics), solar technology, LCD/LED and batteries. If you want to be one the future players, you have to think about 'state of the art' technology

Special Labels

The number of applications for data carriers and plastic cards is high, however, the range of special labels is even wider. It is nearly impossible to name all application possibilities. The market for these labels is ranging from horticultural labels to medical plasters and packaging, metal or plastic baggage tags up to name plates, sticking pads, security plates and foils, electronic circuit board (ECB) connections, smart labels as well as stop loss and security labels, decoration foils and adhesive labels.
