Flexy - Narrow web flexographic printing of labels and flexible packaging materials
| Flexy is the new Omet narrow-web flexographic printing machine , extremely reduced in size, designed for label production and for printing and converting flexible packaging materials. It is a modular in-line machine built on a skeleton frame, foreseen in two versions with hot-air or UV FLEXO printing units. Flexy S - Electronic version with brushless servomotors
| Flexy
S is the new electronic, brushless servomotor variant of
the Flexy. With 2 servomotors for each printing unit – a
specific one for the plate-holding axis and another one for the
printing unit (counter roll, cooling cylinder, anilox roll, rubber
roll) – it is possible to print at an infinitesimally
changeable pitch and have a better control on the print register thanks
to the encoder resolution on the same axis as the motor. It is also
possible an in-line insertion of the Twin-Cut unit for self-adhesive
labels (initially developed for the Varyflex line, it allows producing
all printing formats without having to change the magnetic cylinders,
with a remarkable production-cost saving), a connection via internet
for remote assistance and automatic machine-integrated register control. The machine compactness and the register stability allow very low runs without wasting material. The new operator’s interface panel ensures digital visualization of all production and safety parameters of the machine. The possibility of having in-line flexo, silk-screen, hot and cold-foil units guarantees an extreme flexibility in production. |

Varyflex FP - The ideal solution to print plastic film and labels
| The
tension-control system "Multitension" and the cooling drums ensure a
perfect draw stability even on plastic materials having a thickness up
to 12 micron (BOPP) on Varyflex FP. The gearless system allows printing
formats from 2" to 33" with intermediate pitches that can be
infinitesimally changed. Moreover, Varyflex FP is provided with the
system to change anilox rolls and ink basin rapidly, with the
possibility to prepare jobs outside the machine as well as the sleeve
printing unit (printing plates are directly assembled on sleeves, light
and easy to be transported) with 2 independent motors, the rapid
replacement system, the automatic pre-register and the innovative
integrated register control. |

Varyflex FC - Printing on folding carton has never been so easy
| Varyflex
FC is the first machine for in-line flexo print on folding carton
without gears on the printing-plate (gearless system). No adjustment is
required on changing the features of the printing support thanks to the
direct drive. Varyflex FC is equipped with printing units having 2
independent motors and inking cassette that can be removed from the
machine and interchanged among the various printing units. The integral
application of sleeves (printing plates are directly assembled on
sleeves, light and easy to be transported) along with the system of
rapid replacement in the elements simplifies and makes job changes
faster. Varyflex FC offers the opportunity of using different types of
UV inks (water-based and solvent-based inks) with the possibility of
having combined drying units. The converting unit has been expressly
conceived, as to its dimensions and functionality, to convert folding
carton and not as a simple derivation of traditional units to print
labels. Automatic pre-register is an integrated solution in the
