Digital are Kodak Inkjet Printing Solutions' UK and Eire
distributer for the Kodak Versamark range of narrow bar
inkjet printers and systems. Kodak manufacture a wide range
of inkjet printers including the 1” Dijit 5120 with 120 dpi
resolution, the 1” Dijit 5240 with 240 dpi and the
2” Dijit 5122 with 120 dpi resolution. Although the print resolution is either 120 or 240 dpi, the actual print appears to be much finer due to Kodak's droplet splitting technology. Please contact us for samples or simply send us your stock and we will print samples for you. All units can run up to 1000 feet/minute with variable print resolution. Printers are available as stand alone units or with system controllers. System controllers can be configured to control multiple printers (MPI interface) and have read / image capabilities for printing selectively from the barcode readers, cameras etc. Kodak Versamark website |

Impika
| The
Impika series of drop on demand inkjet printers meets the increasing
demand of high quality variable images required for industry
today. Full colour images can be produced to photo quality so
that photographs can be placed on loyalty cards, passports, identity
cards etc. The cosmetic industry has introduced Impika inkjet systems onto packaging lines to print variable data in a 4 to 6 point typeface using white UV inks. White UV inks enhance the security of a product’s identification, printing variable data with white ink is very difficult to recreate. Impika Inkjet systems can be integrated onto existing mailing and packaging lines or can be placed over the Kirk Rudy range of Vacuum mailing bases for a unique finishing line. Impika’s UV inks will adhere to most substrates. A Loyalty / credit card can be placed onto a carrier sheet, both card and sheet can be printed simultaneously, ensuring product integrity.
